To Lina Malnar, a member of the secret Cartographer Association tasked with keeping the knowledge about portals to other worlds safe from the unassuming public, the early weeks of 1946 mark the first time she’ll get to spend a few days in peace and quiet with her lover, her partner, her otherworldly copy Karol and her impressive collection of bespoke suits.

Getting invited to stay at the elusive family home of the Prodans—Karol’s adoptive family, the one she won’t say a word about to Lina—is not how the girls planned to spend their first vacation together.
