I read his memoir the day after his death from about 3:30 AM until 10:00 AM; all read in one session. It was very well done. Per the New York Times article, no ghostwriter and he made his deadlines. I had preordered it but it is not unusual for me not to read a book right away. It helped me process his sudden passing. Whatever the coroner's findings will be, I won't be surprised – even if his death was purely an accident.
He shared a difficult story very well. No hagiography and also no complete thrashing of self or annoyingly long apologies. There was hope when he wrote it. He will be missed.
