Fox 8

3.5~ I liked this more than I thought I would. I haven't read any other Saunders, for context.

Fox 8 is kind of a grown-up, weird Lorax. It's funny, but it has a heavier bottom line about the cruelty of humans, both inadvertent and deliberate. Its short length and charming pictures make it a nice break from longer reads.

It's definitely not for everyone, verging on love/hate territory. I don't quite know how it would work as an audiobook. But it made me laugh and put forth a message simple enough for the page count.
