Completely forgot how this book went down –probably forced myself to forget, but I understand why things happened the way they did.

Every time Trent starts to seem like a good guy.... tsk, tsk, tsk.

For a pulpy/action/romance writer, Kim Harrison's books can drag a bit. This one was an example. But it's a small price to pay for getting to live in her crazy vampire-ruled world filled with witches, pixies, elves, weres and regular old humans.
