Fish Stick Fridays

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I don't know why I keep reading Rhys Ford; her books clearly don't work for me (okay, this one was purchased at the strange price of 13 cents, so that's my excuse). Not only do I dislike the Insta-Love dynamics, but I cringe every time she uses a non-standard contraction (Zig'd instead of Zig had; The business'd instead of The business had) Maybe I'm too picky, but it takes me out of the story.

Absolutely my last one. Glad that other readers love her, but Ms. Ford is not my cup of tea.
