If you can get past the fact that this ridiculous plot is made possible by a very unlikely coincidence, it's an easy-to-read bad-rich-guy vs. good-rich-guy escapade. Don't expect any surprising twists or turns; I thought it fairly obvious what was playing out, but still went along for the ride.
This was only my second book by Linwood Barclay, but I definitely enjoyed it as much as Elevator Pitch which was the first book by Linwood I read.
It was well written and was fast paced with plenty of twists and turns.
I loved Miles, Chloe, Nicky and Charise. Chloe and Nicky were feisty and totally badass! On the other hand, Jeremy and Caroline were awful and I can't really decide who was the more delusional from the two!
The ending was perfect and tied up the story nicely, and not in a cheesy happy ever after way.
Thank you to NetGalley, Linwood Barclay and the publisher HQ for the chance to read this book.
