Falling Bodies

Ouch. Way too painful to read right now.

This story needed a huge TW for suicide. Horrible ending. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND and wish I hadn't listened to it.

Jesus Christ! Trigger warnings for the ending, and the middle and what kind of fucked up story was that. It was engrossing but I did not see the ending coming.

Interesting concept, but very questionable characters and motives. Couldn't find myself identifying with any of the characters and it wasn't long enough to flesh anything out to justify the decisions made. Felt like the author was trying to make this a political statement, but missed the mark. I'm sure others will think she hit it squarely.

This story builds up to an emotional end. I am a person who grew up feeling trapped between two cultural worlds and being pulled in both ways, sometimes not knowing who cared and who wanted only to win. I found this story highly relatable and the ending one I at times thought was the only way. I truly hope others in such situations find hope and a way to live free.

Pretty decent short story book with a little bit of action complicated relationships in a really cool surprise ending which is why he got a four star rating.
