I am a sucker for Grumpy x Sunshine so imagine my surprise when the FMC turns out to be the grumpy one. No complaints, I was so here for it. Face Off is the second book in the Seattle Serpents series, I definitely skipped the first book and I didn’t feel lost at all. The main characters are so easy to love, especially Rory simply because we’re alike. I didn’t expect Lawson to be the way he was and I think that’s why I liked him so much. I really appreciated that he pressure Rory into saying those 3 little words.I absolutely loved this book and I can’t wait to read more of Teagan’s work.
