This book has excellent and humorous dialog. It was easy to become connected with the characters and they have excellent development. There is a lot of tragedy and does have a lot of disturbing imagery.

A bit of a sad read with a nice message about life and love at the end

Started off slow, but I enjoyed it by the end.

I love Chris Cleave's writing. Really enjoyed the premise, well rounded characters, a different perspective on WWII
