3.5, rounded up. If you can majorly suspend your disbelief, you will love this book. Especially if you are looking for the “Good for her!” trope.

This was quite the ride...I didn't love it, as all the “twists” were predictable (if they were even meant to be twists is up for debate tbh) but I liked Abigail well enough as a character and wanted her to overcome everything that was thrown at her. Overall a quick, entertaining read...probably closer to a 3.5, but rounding down because of some nitpicky things that bothered me as a reader.
Gelezen via audioboek.
this book was not a rave. It was just ok. I knew where it was going which is never a good sign.
Newlyweds on their honeymoon where everything is not what it seems.
Don't want to give too much away, because you should go into this one not knowing too much about it, I think that will make your experience reading it so much better.
I enjoyed this one, I gave it four stars.
after his last book and not enjoying that, i was iffy on reading peter swanson's next books especially seeing that it has a 3.5 rating on goodreads, but i thoroughly enjoyed this. yes, it is predictable and i figured out where the plot was gonna go after the bachelorette party, but that didn't bother me.
I love Peter Swanson....but this book was a mess. The first half did a great job building up the suspense but the last half fell apart. The plot made no sense, there were zero likable or even believable characters, and the ending felt rushed. I'm just going to pretend this book didn't happen.
I LOVED THIS!!! So so good. Definitely go into it blind and enjoy this wild ride.
4.5/5 - a delightfully ridiculous and unrealistic story that was still fun to read.
