Loved it!

So, first things first: this is basically a graphic novel for kids. It's not a typical book with a narrative voice; it's primarily a story told via art with dialogue added. I thought that was inventive and fun and a nice departure from all the maddening rhymes I keep seeing in the children's books I vet for the youngsters in my family.

In the story, readers follow Eraser's experiences from her struggle to fit in to her discovery of self worth. Some of the jokes (such as the white out saying it likes correcting but its true passion is painting) may go a bit over kids' heads without guidance, but overall I think any child who loves reading would find this book simple enough to tackle - albeit perhaps with parental guidance.
