End of Days

I really liked all three books of this series. Every book is interesting and good for different reasons.

This is an amazing trilogy!

i honestly don't know what i feel about the finale. the first part of the book was slow and later parts were quite exciting. the ending could've been more elaborated but overall it's fine.

Endingnya mengejutkn krn ak menduga endingnya bkn seperti itu krn pada akhirnya Raphael adlh seorang malaikat (malaikat utama pula) sedang Penryn adlh manusia (daughter of men). Baca review buku ini byk yg negatif, gk seperti buku2 pendahulunya, tp ak tetap suka.
Spt di review buku sblmnya, buku ini penuh dgn kekerasan level ekstrim, graphic gory, jd mesti kuat perut pas baca ya. Ak suka strong heroine spt Penryn & gk seperti buku2 YA lain dimana kalau settingnya akhir dunia penuh dgn romantisme & mengumbar kata2 cinta sblm perang besar, di buku ini gk begitu tp tetap menarik...

How are you supposed to survive a trilogy LIKE THIS? Thank God, I just found a new life ruiner. Once more... even though this one seems to be slightly stronger. Penryn and Raffe will forever be the complete end of me and of my rational feelings (lmao) towards fictional characters. I have a lot of OTP, the thing is I can't classify Raffryn into my OTP list among many others because they're just so much than that. Crazy stuff.

I must admit that I am openly frustrated by the end, by the way. I need MORE, Susan Ee, do you understand? You cannot do that. That's hell of an inhuman action would say Dee-Dum. But seriously, the dialogues are precious. The characters are precious. And that plot twist in the end... i was shocked. But the kind of shock so marvellous it cuts your breath off.

I'll try to work on this review later, my heart is so messed up right now. Anyway, and I think that's besides all the most important thing about this book: I'm seriously considering calling my inner-self, my cat or my toaster Pooky Bear.

I can't really recommend this one to many people. It is really creepy and dark with a little bit of humor. The first book is not bad, but it gets worse from there.

The plot is still fast-paced and action packed, and the pacing is still as great as always... but I have to admit that I'm not too fond of how Penryn behaves in the first half of the book. In the previous books, I loved how Penryn never worried too much about emotions and just tackled the issues in front of her. But in this book, she becomes notably more emotional. More... angsty. Even in dire situations, she would make comments about how Raffe doesn't want her or how they can never be together.Yes, yes, I know, it's hard to deal with emotions. The vault in Penryn's head already has too many things stuffed into it, and it doesn't help that she's only 17—a teenager. But still, after reading about her awesomeness in the previous books, I couldn't help but think: “Wow, Penryn... what happened to you?”While I'm glad that Penryn and Raffe get their happy ending, I feel like the series need more development before reaching a conclusion. There are way too many things squished into the last 25% or so, so the quick conclusion felt shallow... and cheesy at some points. Some things like Obi's death also feels like a convenient way to wrap things up, and in the end it's more like deus ex machina than anything else. There's a lot of questions which remain unanswered, though I do like how the world isn't magically fixed in the end. It stays broken, and everyone who has been scarred stay that way.I wish we'd get to see Laylah fixing Raffe and Paige too. At least a glimpse of it, instead of having deus ex machina and suddenly seeing them in better condition.Complaints aside, I did enjoy this book and the ending—I just feel like it could've been better. The Watchers are awesome though, so I'm a bit sad that they didn't get much spotlight. Can we see more of them, please? Pretty please?

I loved this book so much, it deserves all of the stars.
It was fantastic, fast-paced, incredible, action-packed, wondeful and with enough romance to leave me satisfied.
