I thoroughly enjoyed this book even if I was often frustrated by some of the proofs that were only inadequately explained. I feel that for some of the proofs, the author avoided any reasonable explanation because of the promise to only use basic mathematical operations. I get that but still feel annoyed.
That didn't stop me from enjoying the parts of the book I did understand and that is a much larger set than what I didn't. Or as the book says, the cardinality of the set of things I understood from the book is higher than the cardinality of the set of things I didn't. That said, I dare not speak of understanding mathematics any more than this.
