This is a science-fiction novel with the hallmarks of Justo Navarro, "one of the great Spanish prose writers of recent decades" (Antonio Lozano, Librújula): interest in memory and concern for the future, presence of the figure of the double and the unreliability of its narrators, the Orwellian control over society, an atmosphere of intrigue and the city of Granada as the background landscape.
