Dress Codes: How the Laws of Fashion Made History

God, the subject matter is so interesting, and the writing style is so gratingly dry that I couldn't even force myself through it. Maybe I'll pick it up again if I run out of available Libby books but, I'm not looking forward to it.

This book sounded extremely interesting on paper but is executed poorly. The vocabulary is way too pretentious and inaccessible to a vast majority of the public. Not to mention, it managed to make fashion sound extremely boring. Good effort on writing the book though.
