Dreaming of You

I feel like I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately - lots of things I've liked (or mostly liked) but didn't full-on love. Well, I love this book! It's old school historical but I mean that as a total compliment. There's a gaming hell and a country party and someone gets kidnapped and it's all just incredible.

Loved the beginning but I didn't love how the book ended!

Overdramatic ending aside, this book was an absolute hoot. But hmm, Kleypas brushed aside Craven's control issues like it's nothing - wish she dealt with it more thoroughly than treating it like a “cute quirk” of Craven's. Because in real life, that controlling behaviour leads to bad news.
