Dragon Mate

I'm finding it hard to sum up my thoughts on this book! 
I originally assumed the FMC was a dragon from the start, so I was genuinely surprised when she wasn't – though I was intrigued by the way Egan changes that for her later on.

Initially, I struggled with some of her reactions to her attraction and the choices she made. But as the story went on, I began to see it as a pretty realistic portrayal of someone facing confusing new emotions and circumstances.

I was also pleasantly surprised by Sadie and the other women – it was refreshing to see a supportive female group instead of the usual “bitchy” dynamic.

I'm still a bit lost when it comes to Vera and her grandmother's diary, and how Ollie ties into it. It felt like he might even be under her influence somehow, and I'm curious to see how that storyline develops!
