A mysterious light shines on people and they all turn to stone. 3700 years into the future some of them emerge from stone and now they face various difficulties. By various difficulties I mean shounen manga cliches disguised as survival in the wilderness.

Since the characters don't “de-stone” at the same time, I don't want to discuss them to avoid spoilers, but I can safely say that they have cliche manga personalities. And even though it helps to move the plot forward, it is a bit annoying.

The main hook is seeing how our heroes adapt to a new world without technology (or anything but nature, really) and how they deal with philosophical differences of whether or not they should revive more people.

The main annoyance, though, is their personalities, certain characters' over-the-top abilities, and of course - sexualization of women. Almost any shot featuring a woman involves a sexy pose, honestly. My friend told me that the artist of this manga also draws hentai, so perhaps I shouldn't be surprised...

I don't know if I'll come back to this one. Even though I am curious to see how the heroes will deal with various obstacles and what decisions they'll make in the process, I also anticipate a certain disappointment, and since there are more books than I can possibly read in my lifetime, I don't think I'll miss this one that much.
