The dog days of summer... Can be murder. Thrifting reseller and amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, has her hands full with finding items to sell in her online store and volunteering at the Happy Paws animal shelter. While she’s still lonely after the loss of her beloved husband, Macy is trying her best to make friends and fit in with the locals in the small Florida town that is now her home, but so far, aside from her animal shelter buddies, she’s not having much luck. Life is becoming more routine as she figures out how to exist as a new widow, but it gets turned upside down when she makes a horrifying discovery while walking one of the shelter dogs.
