Divine Rivals

I didn't know much about this book diving in and I definitely wasn't expecting what the story was about. When I finished this book, I was irrationally angry and hurt by a fictional character. Like ... irrationally angry. Upon some self-reflection (lol) I give this book 5 stars. It really is such a beautiful love story. I stand by my statement of “things could have ended differently, because choices were made”, but it really was beautiful and it pulls all the emotions out of you.

I must read the next book, because I need to find out what happens. I wish I was able to write like Iris does, honestly. I think the letters were the sweetest and I'm praying for a happy ending in book 2. My sappy romantic heart needs proper closure!
