Deadly Consequences

2013 • 316 pages

The attacks on September 11, 2001 were larger and spread nation-wide, leading to a culture of fear and paranoia. Attempting to save the country, and the planet, dragons appeared in the sky in aid to the Air Force. A little over a year later, the country huddles behind its borders. Agents from a special unit within the FBI, created to combat domestic terrorism are slowly evaluating and re-training the nation's law enforcement community. Agent Leigh McCarrin, member of the Domestic Anti-Terrorism Assessment Unit, is in Seattle, Washington trying to solve problems as they appear. Agent McCarrin, however, has a close connection to the dragons who fly daily over the country, and that connection could lead to her death.
