Dark and Shallow Lies

If I have one regret, it's that I did not read this in the midst of fall with a cup of tea while it rains. But seriously, this book is so crazy atmospheric and written with the perfect amount of eeriness. I may read it again come October, November just so I can fully bask in that supernatural, spooky, young adult thriller-esque atmosphere. Lovely, lovely, spooky.

If you're looking for an absolutely amazing supernatural thriller, this book is the one for you. I can't believe how good this was. I RARELY read any thrillers, because I get scared so easily, so even though I enjoy them from time to time, they're not my usual cup of tea. But “Dark and Shallow Lies” has exceeded any expectations that I had.

This book is a masterpiece. I couldn't believe the things that were happening, I definitely did not expect the book to go the way it did and all I have to say is: WOW. I need more books like this one.
