Dancing Through Graveyards with Ninth Graders is a light-hearted collection of creative nonfiction narrating the adventures in the 30-year career of a junior high school English teacher. Stories of the students and colleagues he encountered serve as a backdrop against which he reflects on what it meant to teach writing and literature, raise a family, and navigate the cultural and educational changes brought about by computer technology between 1989 and 2019.
