Cucumber Quest: The Doughnut Kingdom

This is a hilarious read about an unwilling hero. He doesn't want to save the world, he wants to go to the challenging school he was able to get into! It is his sister who is the knight that wants to travel and fight bad guys.

There are quirky characters and situations that made me laugh and smile. Very wonderful and honestly not what I was expecting.

This book is a great start to a series. It is light, fun, and makes fun of the classic questing trope. A hero who doesn't want to be a hero, a knight who runs away, and a team who would rather let the bad guys get away in order to make their quest epic and more challenging.
