Come and Get It

One of the BEST characterizations since forever! The characters felt so real to me!!

I enjoyed reading this book. It felt like latent anxiety, everything was building up like a tower made of blocks balanced on the edge, or a tightrope walker🤹🏽

I just finished it and the most memorable aspect of it were the characters - although it felt like a lot to keep up with at first, i have an idea of how theyre like and what they look like in my head!! I That's a remarkable thing to achieve because usually I just end up dnf-ing books with too many characters.

I think youd enjoy this book if ur a uni student who is interested in the perspectives of introverted characters, college friend groups, general dorm drama, growing up, questionable choices etc.

It didn't grab me as much as Reid's first novel, but this one was engaging in its own right. Some interesting characters and situations, but not a lot of plot. I'm also not sure I love how it all wrapped up. I really liked the narration though.
