someone said “the smut is smutting” and that's why i gave 5 stars even without reading the damn thing
It was an okay sports romance story. It has these beautiful and hilarious moments between the main characters!! But, in my opinion, it is as if you mix Icebreaker and The Deal, it is just a combination of stories. Also, the characters lack background and complexion, so much in some characters that is difficult to connect with them.
Overall it is a good funny, easygoing story with lovely moments.
I was super hyped for this but it really didn't live up to my expectations. The writing was blah, summer sucked for at least 3/4 of the book and Aiden has the vibe of a bowl of cream of wheat. The only kinda okay character on the side was Kian. And nothing was really resolved?? Like so glad summer's dad has sooo much money and can just use that to get through things?
OMG LOVED THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!
the epilogue is always the best chapter in my opinion.
when i found out that they had Rory and the was another kid on the way, i had a meltdown!!!
Cute little romance with okay representation/diversity. It bothered me that despite being brown, Summer‘s heritage wasn't discussed much. She could‘ve passed for a white character if it wasn't for the occasion mention of chai and gulab jamun. Still, it was an overall enjoyable read with likeable characters.
Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this arc. This story was very sweet but it did start to slow down for me. But overall it was a fun read.
