Cold Moon Over Babylon

Another great book by McDowell. A creepy slow burner of a story that ends with a bang. Murder, ghosts and revenge - what more do you need?

*4.5 stars. Michael McDowell was an exceptional writer. This book was a solid 5 stars for the first half. The second half becomes a bit repetitive and a bit frantic, but still, such horrific and gore-filled fun. And, such good writing!

Gator country noir with reanimated corpses. Battling landowners, buckets of blood, and breakneck pacing. Perfection.
