Code of Honor

I consider finishing this book as an accomplishment by itself. What always draws my attention is heavy plot and character development. Yes, there is a plot here but it needs more work on the storyline, smoothing over the edges and editing. A lot of times I was pulled out of the story just to be able to figure out what the author wanted to write. I read an ARC so probably it will be clean after release. Second - I couldn't connect to the characters either- they had a habit to think over their mutual attraction and how to get down and dirty in really odd moments from the start, always when there was an intense turn in the plot itself or something important for the story was happening.

If you enjoyed Gideon and John's story check out the next book in the series, Nico and Tristan's story, TRUST IN TRUTH”..., don't freak out - it was Sawyer and Hayden's story, not Gideon and John. I actually had to turn some pages back in reassurance which story was i actually reading.
