- really enjoyed the city where so many types of different creatures mingle
- the magic and abilities are interesting, although not explored a whole lot in the book
- the banter between Darien and Loren was nice

Slow Burn romance with a human girl, Demons, Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, gods, goddesses, and Darkslayers. Darkslayers are a supernatural bounty hunters that possess the Sight, a magical tracking ability that allows them to see a person's aura.
Everyone is after Loren Calla. You continue reading this thick book to find out why, and uncover more mysteries along the way.
Loren and Darien are a slow burn you love! They are frustrating and you love them and you root for them the whole time. Not a big cliffhanger ending, but and interesting one what makes you want to continue the book series.
