Cinderella Is Dead

Hunger games has a sci-fi element and this is a fantasy retelling. But I think they would mesh well in reading taste.I enjoyed this book, I think the first half a bit better. I also like that this is a one-shot (so far?) Lots of addressing current day issues, which may be disturbing that the patriarchy hold still echos so loudly in modern day. It works, I think this will connect really well with the YA audience.A really interesting retelling! They added a lot of twists on the Cinderella story that I enjoyed! It's also kinda fun that I just played in the pit for a Cinderella musical in my community! So, this is great timing to read this book!
