Finally opened up my signed copy on a long train ride and flew through it. Queer, funny, suspenseful, and thoroughly enjoyable throughout. It's been a long while since I've enjoyed reading this much and I'm very grateful for that experience. I was very happy to find the sequel had already been announced by the time I actually read this one – and immediately pre-ordered another personalized copy, obviously.
Very charming cozy with a fun cast of characters. The mystery was solidly plotted. Aside from that, I think it really captured that mid-20's feeling of getting a little lost in the sauce while reconciling who you were with who you are now with who you want to be. Enjoyable audio.
