First I just want to thank the author for providing me with a copy of this book via R&R Book Tours in exchange for my honest review.

This novel is inspired by the authors experiences living in NYC and working as a model. I didn't know this going into it so while reading it I was thinking surely this isn't really how it is. After finishing the book I read about the author and saw that it is in fact inspired by true events and I was shocked. You think modeling is this glamorous thing and then you read this and learn of the dark side of modeling. I really hope that things aren't like this in this day in age. It definitely has some triggers with drugs and alcohol as well as attempted rape as well as others. I didn't have any expectations going into this book but it immediately sucked me in and had me feeling all the emotions. I ended up giving this 4 stars because the main character Cat was very whiny in the first half of the book and that got on my nerves after a while but she eventually grows and learns from her mistakes which I loved.
