Calico Joe

I don't know why he writes courtroom dramas at all, because his prose works so much better with books like this.
An interesting read and a quick one. A little predictable, but still, not nearly as predictable as A Time to Kill or anything like that.
Also, I think he got a better editor, because this book does not fall into the trap of telling us what is going on, instead of showing us.
