This is a wonderful source for any study of medieval Ireland. The Calendar contains various records including writs; payments; fines; land acquisitions; amounts of imports/exports from Ireland, Papal declarations, monastic possessions to name but some of the types of entries. Despite the title this is only volume one - 1171-1252.
