I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book provided by the author.

I am having a little difficulty trying to figure out what to say about this book. I didn't really enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the first book.

It pretty much starts off right where Updrift (the first book) left off. There are so many new characters that are introduced or that we got to know a little bit in the first book having their own storylines that I felt like it was a little to overwhelming. Kate and Gabe weren't as prominent in this book and I found myself really missing that. I go pretty attached to their characters after reading Updrift that I really would have like to have so much more of them in this book. Even though I didn't enjoy this one as much I am still really interested to continue on with this series to find out what happens next for these characters especially Maya and Aidan.
