Bread and Wine

This book was incredible. It made me want to grab my friends and cook for them, or go find some new food served out, and share stories. It made me want to bake and host. It was like a culinary call to action.

A great book that inspires me to live in the moment more and there are even a few recipes I'm going to try.

Book Review: Bread & Wine: A Love Letter to Life Around the Table with Recipes by Shauna Niequist - a very enjoyable meandering series of essays about Life, Love, Food, Friends and life around the table. Not as focused around the idea of the Eucharist as I would have thought from the title (really only the last two chapters), but still well worth reading to think about how to think about food and the ways that food draws people together. Most chapters have a recipe that relates to the topic or idea of the chapter.
