I swallow her as if she were a sword, little by little and with enormous care
Beautiful writing. Heavy with themes of motherhood and growing out of a relationship, but also funny sometimes.
Nice little novella for those in the mood for a toxic literary sapphic story.
How many centuries have to pass before a woman can give birth without it looking like an experiment?
Interesting prose, but meanders in a way that felt like this needed another editing pass. Felt we spent too long in the early parts and whirled past all the emotional juiciness of the later parts.
Such pain, such badass prose.
I wish I were able to read this in the original Spanish.
