Really liked this one because Jane learned a lot more about her past and her role as a War Woman. She also discovered how to break the chain to Leo which I've been dying for her to do. I don't know how I feel about Leo's apology and I'm glad Jane beat him up. Katie can go suck an egg. I'm also glad that Jane is opening up more about herself with others.

I don't think Jane is completely done with Rick but I hope she is and will stick to her guns. And now that Bruiser is available and not attached to Leo (as much) I want to see them get it on some more. ;)

The whole story with Molly, Adrianna and Jack was very nicely plotted and paced. I liked how the puzzle pieces were laid out and put together. However, Molly character in this book seemed kind of stupid because if she had gone straight to Jane's house, a lot of nonsense could have been avoided.

What's to say about this one, that I haven't said about other books in the series already?

The action's tight, the vamp politics and Jane's interaction with it are pretty interesting, Faith's coming to grips with more of her background was really compelling, and her growing relationship with the brothers is fun.

Obviously, this is the most personal case that Jane's had yet – for someone to be messing around with Molly, that's just beyond the pale. Those raised stakes (pun fully intended), and the ongoing drama with Leo's grip on the New Orleans vampires made this the best of the series.

Definitely my favorite of this series so far! SO much development in the character! The plot was good, but honestly, it was secondary to what was going on within Jane this time around, and there wasn't a boring moment anywhere.
