my brain is wholly incapable of thinking about anything else at the moment. talk about a work of art.

such an unconventional romance with unrequited love, cheating by omission, and a (reluctant on one side) open relationship arrangement, but the characters were oh-so-very likable despite their flaws, and i couldn't get enough.

i might be the furthest thing from a #hotcop, but several of James' thought processes could've been copy and pasted directly from my brain, so i had an extra supply of sympathy for his internal struggles.
