Beyond the grave

I love this series. I think what I really love is all of the characters. This is the third book in the series, and unlike the others, it cannot be read as a standalone. Purnhagen drops us back in only a few weeks from when the action of the last book ended. Poor Charlotte is a mess. She is starting college, Noah is acting weird, it is wedding madness at her house, and she is secretly trying to contact ghosts on her own.
Beyond the Grave moves at a good clip, and the conflicts keep piling on. My favorite bit is a flashback of an investigation the Silver family did years ago at the Pink Rose, and that made me realize that I miss the investigations. I hope that the Silvers get back on the road in the next story.
