Beowulf and Grendel

So firstly be aware this Penguin 60s Classic version is an excerpt - it is the first 2/3 of the Beowulf story, including Grendel and Grendel's mother. This is a different translation to my version of Beowulf (Folio Society 1973), bit both are similar in pace and description.
I never had to read this at school, as so many other people dd, so wasn't tarnished by ‘having' to read.
I enjoyed this.
