I haven't been that scared of a book in a good long time. This story had my jaw dropping a few times and it was actually scary. Honestly enjoyed it. I was a bit confused by the ending and had to search for some clarification but it kind of lined up to what everyone else was saying.So glad I gave Laurel a chance after Crossroads. That books was such a disaster.

I loved this. How many of us lose faith in our own ability to thrive to survive. At the end of the day we can choose our own path forward or take the easier more mundane route. And perhaps we'll all stronger than we think!

This was an extremely claustrophobic read. The sense of isolation, and entrapment was executed extremely well, the reveals that nothing is quite as it seems built up beautifully for such a short read. I was attracted to the Mothman premise (I have not read enough Mothman stuff) but was not prepared for the psychological horror that was presented here.
