Before and After

I didn't like that it went back and forth in the timeline and was a bit slow for my taste. It's not a bad story, just not for me.

The first I want to say half of the book was 5 stars but after the self amputation scene it went down and the magic of the first chapters never reignited and things just kept getting more and more farfetched in a way that I found a bit tedious.
