As a finishing superintendent in commercial construction, I've found this book to be very thorough and complete, even though it's clearly aimed at residential superintendents.
There's a good section of this book that describes the ideal training of new superintendents. That's something I've never seen in my line of work, which is why I'm reading a book on how to be a good superintendent.
It covers all aspects of homebuilding, contractors and clients relations, written contracts and many other things I never thought could actually be useful. The whole OSHA/Jobsite safety chapter is clearly for Americans rules and regulations but the basic rules and safety procedures stay the same for Canadians and most probably other countries.
Now I need to get a physical copy to carry it around with all the highlighted sections because I'm not gonna bring my Kindle on the jobsite!
