I can always rely on Adam Nevill's books to give me a few restless nights. “Banquet for the Damned” was no exception. Every creak and groan a house makes at night had me quaking under my duvet.
Nevill's writing is so descriptive it pulls the reader right in.
I have seen his work described as “too wordy”. I beg to differ. This man can do no wrong, apart from costing me some sleep.
