This book is an adorable friends-to-lovers romance. Levi is a sweetie and I adore supportive and patient he is. He loves her, love at first sight, and it has only grown as he has hung out with Jocelyn over the years, but he didn't want to pressure her with his feelings. Jocelyn is finally starting to show romantic interest.... but for a different man! I was worried this was going to be a “he didn't realize what he had ‘til it was threatened,” but fear not, Levi knows exactly how amazing Jocelyn is. Jocelyn is a little harder with a steel-forged shell, but she is in a wheelchair and is used to people acting like she is a second-class citizen. She's out there fighting day and night for what she wants and hasn't taken a break to even consider that someone might be willing to date her. Her self-confidence is pretty low, so watching her blossom and do what she loves is so satisfying.
I highly recommend this sweet friends-to-lovers small town romance.
I look forward to reading more by this author!!
