Het idee is wel aardig, een leesbaar(der) boek over de Engelse taal en veel van haar eigenaardigheden. Maar uiteindelijk voelt het format toch te dwingend, waar in diverse hoofdstukken van opstaan tot slapengaan van allerhande wordt behandeld.
Ook een boek met een iets te hoog “weetjes” gehalte waar bij mij althans dan weer heel weinig van blijft hangen.
