As Meat Loves Salt

Dropped at 76 pages. This no doubt an excellent book but just not for me. I had a hard time with the archaic language (it reads very historically accurate and just didn't process well in my head) and thus difficulty following the narrative. If it was maybe 200 pages not 500 I'd have stuck with it but that's too much for this humble reader.

My favorite book as of late but I don't think I will pick it up again. Fulfilling and rewarding a book but also a tough and draining one.

You can now find me crouching in the the corner, knees to much chest, rocking back and forth trying to convince myself True Love ™️ and that Life Is Good ™️ can be a thing that exists.

Fuck.

Beautiful writing but a dark and obsessive tale.
