Aradhana has almost accepted her lonely and unhappy life -- one in which her busy and distracted husband has no time for her, and her own existence feels devoid of purpose. That is, until a chance encounter in a stalled lift with a charming and immensely talented music teacher, Yash, brings colour and joy into her bleak life. She begins to take lessons from him and slowly the music brings them closer emotionally.
