As always, Eason writes a great action novel. I loved the story of Wade and his daughter Amy and their primary bodyguard, former police detective Olivia Edwards. I spotted one enemy about halfway through, but was surprised by the second one.
One plot bit bugged me: After all the buildup about how Olivia didn't like God, her faith status at the ending ended in a single-page bit about her changed feelings...it seemed like I wanted more payoff after that much buildup.
Two editing bits bugged me:
Nauseous is not a feeling; nauseated is the proper term to portray an upset stomach.
“Nosey” is not a word. The proper spelling is nosy.
